Itholoke village’s Kgosi Mokgala Mosesane has applauded President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi for the sterling leadership he has exhibited as he continues to traverse the world to strengthen bilateral relations with other countries.
That would bear fruits for the country in the future, Kgosi Mokgala Mosesane said during the President’s first ever visit to the Jwaneng-Mabutsane constituency village on July 1.
Kgosi Mosesane outlined a number of challenges besieging the village among them shortage of water, poor roads and lack of accommodation for public officers.
On the issue of water shortage, he said though bowsing was done, it was insufficient.
Responding, President Masisi said he would address a kgotla meeting in the village in due course to consult on different issues.
The meeting would provide an opportunity to map the way forward on how best to address the issues, he said.
Dr Masisi encouraged residents to remain united and maintain the peace that continued to prevail in the country.
The President donated blankets to the residents. Ends
