Makopong police officers to increase

Two Special Constables will be employed to increase the number of police officers at Makopong, Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso, has said.
Responding to a question at Ntlo ya Dikgosi, from Kgosi David Toto II of the Kgalagadi South region, Ms Tshireletso said the challenge at Makopong was that there was no accommodation for police officers in the village.
“One police officer will be relocating to Makopong as accommodation has been made available,” she said.
Kgosi Toto II wanted to know when the number of police officers at Makopong would be increased in order to combat criminal activities in the village. Ends
