Boitumelo Foundation has on May 21 donated blankets, food hampers and school bags to Masiela Trust Fund at Old Naledi kgotla in Gaborone.

Boitumelo Foundation executive committee member, Mr Jacob Sesinyi said the aim of the foundation was to alleviate poverty and help the needy and under privileged.

He emphasised that those who were blessed should remember the poor, adding that ‘blessed is the hand that gives than the one that receives.’

AAP Home Based Care chairperson, Ms Martha Rampha expressed gratitude to Boitumelo Foundation for their compassion, support and generosity.

She said the gesture showed love to those who received and  gave them hope that there were other people who cared about them.

Old Naledi councillor, Mr Basalomi said God would bless Boitumelo Foundation for remembering the needy and the under privileged.

He stated that it was by the grace of God that they were able to donate, and that those who received were blessed even more. ENDS
