Botlogetswe qualifies for World Champs

Christine Botlogetswe has qualified for the 2019 World Championships after finishing on position three with a time of 51.29 at Shanghai Diamond league in China.
Botlogetswe, who is slowly becoming a force to reckon with in international stage, was up against renowned 400m runners in American sprinter, Jessica Beard, Sydney McLaughlin and Shakima Wimbley, Dutch sprinter Lisanne de Witte, Chinese Huang Guifen, Jamaican Stephenie Ann McPherson, Bahraini Salwa Eid Naser and Polish sprinter Justyna Święty-Ersetic .
Isaac Makwala on the other hand pulledout of the race as a result of an injury. ends
