It further says some of the athletes were among the team that represented the country during the 2018 COSSASA athletics games, which held in Botswana.

The team came in third position with a total of 20 gold medals behind Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Meanwhile, positive response and high morale in camp has given the technical director, Joy Kenosi hope that ‘the team will bring extra two gold medals this year to make 22 and beat the likes of Zimbabwe and stubborn Namibia’.
