The design for Mochudi hospital was not done as per budgetary provision of the 2017/18 financial year as the project memorandum that was submitted to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development was not approved.

This was said by Assistant Minister of Health and Wellness, Mr Biggie Butale when answering a question from Member of Parliament for Mochudi West, Mr Gilbert Mangole.

Mr Butale said the budgetary provision for Mochudi hospital was not carried over to the 2018/19 financial year as it could not be accommodated in the 2018/19 financial year owing to budgetary ceiling constraints.

MP Mangole had asked why the design for the new Mochudi hospital was not done as per the budgetary provision of 2017/18 financial year. He also wanted to know why the budgetary provision was not carried over to the 2018/19 financial year and when such a budgetary provision would be made.Ends
