Former pupils donate to school

Molefi Senior Seconary School Class of 1999 Society has donated toiletries worth P3 600 to their former school.
Speaking at the donation, the school head, Mr Khangelani Tshebo thanked them for their generosity, saying the toiletries would go a long way in helping those in need, especially sanitary pads for the girl child.
He said his school faced many challenge and that the toiletries would help in tackling other challenges.
“The heart that gives is the one that cherish the most. As long as it is given out of love and willingness, quantity does not matter, either small or big,” he said
He further commended them for helping his students.
“I invite the holy spirit to guide and lead you in all your endeavours to support community developments, and I pray to God to strengthen you,” he said.
For his part, deputy chief of Bakgatla, Kgosi Bana Sekai also praised the society for their generosity and giving back to the community.
He encouraged pupils to work hard in their studies so they may also donate to others in future.
Kgosi Sekai urged stakeholders to come on board and support the community as their corporate social responsibility.
On behalf of boarding pupils, Ms Tania Mokgwe commended the society for helping them. She said they always felt neglected because they were away from their families.
Molefi Class of 1999 Society chairperson, Mr Godfrey Mokgadinyana said their main aim was to help those in need and to engage in social community development.
He advised pupils to be ambitious and determined to succeed, emphasising that their success was in their hands. ENDS
