01 Apr 2019
Motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Mr Mothusi Kwenaeile has encouraged Kweneng Rural Development Association first-year students to be ambitious and have goals.
Speaking during a character building programme for the pupils in Molepolole, Mr Kwenaeile urged them to be creative and to strive to achieve their visions.
He informed them about the ‘SMART’ concept of specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bond tests in every aspect they carried out to achieve their goals.
The owner of Mmualebe Informer advised the students to be specific about their dreams, adding that they should have dreams that were clear and solid.
He added that their dreams should be measurable, and should be something that could be possible to carry out and achieve.
He also added that the goals must be realistic, and that they should have a time frame that one should work based on it.
He said the important part for one to achieve their goals in life was time bond, explaining that the amount of time a person has set should match the workload they were implementing towards their dream goals.
Another motivational speaker, Mr Kevin Chabwe told the students that they were the designers of their own destiny, adding that where they would end was determined by them.
He urged them to be intentional, saying that they should focus and avoid blaming others.
He encouraged the students to change the way they did things and the way they thought, emphasising that when they invested wisely they could be powerful and achieve more. ENDS
