Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC) has experienced delays in commencement of a house project in Pilane as it was awaiting provision of water and sewer infrastructure at the site.

This was said by Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Development, Mr Vincent Seretse on behalf of Minister of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services.

Minister Seretse said land servicing of the site was being undertaken by the Ministry of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services.

He however told Parliament that the ministry was currently going through a procurement process for land servicing, and that BHC would commence developments upon completion of servicing of the site.

Mochudi West legislator, Mr Gilbert Mangole had wanted to know what had delayed the long promised construction of BHC houses in Pilane and when the commencement of the project could be expected. ENDS
