26 Mar 2019

Kgosi Sue Mosinyi of Bokaa has urged Raserura Secondary School pupils in Mochudi to embrace discipline in order to attain good results.

Kgosi Mosinyi said this on March 23 during the school’s sponsored walk themed better facilities for better teaching and learning.

He said discipline should always be at the centre of success in everything one does, therefore it should be embraced in order to maintain good results.

He further said the application of discipline for students started by refraining from all destructive habits that could derail them from staying focused and excelling.

“I urge you to shun alcohol and drug use because they can destroy your future,” he added. Kgosi Mosinyi encouraged students to choose friends that are academically and morally helpful and also to follow school rules and regulations.

Moreover, Kgosi Mosinyi commended the school for achieving good 2018 Form Five results, which showed dedication and hard work from students.

Kgosi Mosinyi also commended teachers for their sacrifices and dedication to helping students in achieving good results and added that their efforts were visible through results.

Parent Teacher Association executive chairperson Mr Mpho Mfolwe said the sponsored walk was held to try and better the teaching and learning process in the school by raising funds to secure appliances that would boost the standard in the multiple areas of learning.

Deputy school head Mr Moses Kapengwa thanked participants for taking part in the sponsored walk and said it showed they cared about the learning and teaching environment.

He also said for teachers to produce good results, they needed better facilities, which would help them assist students well.

He said fitness was important for students in order for them to get better results and to keep fit and healthy. ends
