Tutume has community library

Tutume Community Library, which is hosted at Tutume McConnel College, is operated in partnership with the Ministry of Basic Education.
Assistant Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, Mr Dikgang Makgalemele explained that the ministry provided resources, including staff for the library, adding that the arrangement also existed at Letlhakeng and Kang.
He noted that the libraries were well utilised.
Mr Makgalemele also said the need for public libraries was highly appreciated.
Nkange legislator, Mr Edwin Batshu had asked if the ministry was aware that Tutume, which was the headquarters of Tutume Sub-district, had no public library.
Furthermore, he asked the minister to state what would be done to rescue the situation. ENDS
