Manyana-Bikwe Road to be upgraded

The Manyana-Bikwe Road will be upgraded from earth to gravel status during the 2019/2020 financial year.
Responding to a question in Parliament on behalf of Minister of Transport and Communications, Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Mr Nonofo Molefhi stated that government was aware that the road was in bad state and could not be used during rainy seasons.
Mr Molefhi said the planned improvement would include drainage (installation of culverts) along the road, among other things.
MP for Moshupa-Manyana, Mr Karabo Gare had asked the minister if he was aware that the Manyana-Bikwe Road was in bad state, and that it could not be used during rainy seasons.
Furthermore, he wanted to know when the gravel road and necessary culverts would be constructed. ENDS
