Three DBES officers study Masters

06 Mar 2019

Three employees of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing Development were sent for further studies at Masters level from 2015/2016 financial year.

Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Development, Mr Vincent Seretse said all the three employees were from the Department of Building and Engineering Services.

Answering a question from specially elected MP, Mr Mephato Reatile, the minister said the three officers completed their studies and reported for duty.

Mr Seretse explained that outsourcing was a government policy, which his ministry implemented and it was not linked to training of employees.

Mr Reatile had asked the minister to state the number of officers sent for further studies at Masters level or specialisation and to provide the breakdown by departments and also to state the amount of money spent on consultancy services in the past five years. ENDS
