Member of Parliament for Mochudi East has urged youth to participate in expos to show case their products and services as a way of sourcing clientele. 

Speaking at Mmapole careers and ideas expo themed nature’s paths towards a better brighter future at Boseja South ward in Mochudi on March 2, he said it was important for youth to attend expos as they could market and expose their businesses to potential customers.

He further said the expo was beneficial to the youth as it helped them to benchmark from other entrepreneurs and to share business ideas, and for upcoming youths to choose career paths wisely. 

He said if youth could choose careers wisely early, they could  focus on their studies and work hard to attain better results. He said often people, especially the youth turn away from supporting local businesses, which makes it hard for local businesses, hence they collapse. 

Mr Molebatsi implored the youth to start their own businesses with the little they have and decist from waiting for initiatives from government. 

Mmapole careers and ideas expo director and founder Mr Gomolemo Gouwe said the aim of the expo was to give local businesses exposure and market their goods and services. 

He said the expo was for entrepreneurs to know one another and come up with ways to help one another expand their businesses. 

Further, he said the expo is intended to assist youth meet up with stakeholders to assist them in career counselling. ENDS
