33 pursue Masters Degree

Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conversation and Tourism has sent 33 employees to study for Masters Degrees in the past five years.
Responding to a question in Parliament from specially elected MP Mr Mephato Reatile, Minister of Environment, Natural Conversation and Tourism Mr Kitso Mokaila said in 2014/2015 the ministry sent 10 employees, in 2015/2016 eight, 2016/2017 five, 2017/2018 only one while for the period of 2018/2019 the ministry sent nine employees.
Mr Mokaila also indicated that the ministry had spent more than P541 000 under the Consultancy Vote from 2014 to date. Mr Reatile had asked Minister Mokaila to state the number of employees sent for further studies at Master’s level and also state the amount spent on consultancy services for the past five years.ENDS
