Six internship officers at Gambling Authority

Assistant Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Moiseraele Goya says the Gambling Authority currently has six interns out of which five were posted directly by the National Internship programme.
Answering a question in Parliament, he said one was transferred from the Ombudsman, adding that the interns were all female with their ages ranged from 24-31.
He said there was no intern targeted and or already briefed of their recruitment upon completion or before completion of their internship period.
Selebi Phikwe Member of Parliament Dithapelo Keorapetse had wanted the minister to state the number of intern officers currently employed at the Gambling Authority, their gender and age category; and if there were any specific intern officers targeted and already briefed of their recruitment upon completion or before completion of their internship period.
Still in Parliament, Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security, Mr Eric Molale said six villages in the Kanye South constituency had been electrified between 2008 and 2017. He said the villages were Sesung, Selokolela, Seherelela, Lefhoko, Lotlhakane East, and Betesankwe, which was partly electrified to supply the primary school and the clinic.
He said there was no budget for village solar electrification including for Kanye South, during the 2018/2019 financial year.
He was responding to a question from Kanye South Member of Parliament Mr Abram Kesupile, who had wanted the minister to state the number of villages in Kanye South that got electrical power connection through the Rural Electrification Programme between 2008-2017 and the number of villages, by name, in Kanye South that would be considered to benefit from the Solar Electrification Programme during the 2018/2019 financial year.
