Kanye Spar donates to needy Moshana pupils

Kanye spar has donated stationary and toiletries worth P4 000 to 20 needy pupils at Modisi Primary School in Moshana on Tuesday.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, spar manager, Ms Hildah Setuke said the donation would strengthen and give dignity to the youngsters as well as ensuring that they focus on their school work.
Towards the end of every year they identify the needy in their community and help them where possible to make ends meet. Ms Setuke said Spar met with the area chief and sold their idea to donate to needy pupils at Modisi as an investment in education and to make a mark in the community.
She also said food hampers and toiletries worth P6 665 were donated to 25 needy elders of Moshana in January.
Giving a welcome remarks, Modisi school head Ms Motshedisi Mogaetsho commended Spar for the spirit of love and compassion they have given to pupils.
She noted that goods donated to pupils was a blessing to them, as it would motivate learners to excel in their studies.
She anticipated that the donation would boost pupil’s confidence to attend classes with a smile and play a major role in their performance.
In conclusion, she pleaded with pupils to take care of their books and urged parents to be part of their children’s education.
She also encouraged Spar to keep up the good work and continue with the spirit of giving, extending it to other needy communities. ENDs
