Subscribe to high customer service standards

Mahalapye Sub-district employees have been implored to subscribe to high customer service standards.

This was said by Mr Gaoalafe Kompone, a trainer from Southwest Training Institute explaining that service providers such as the local authority should act as brand ambassadors by providing satisfactory service to the customers.

Speaking during a customer service workshop at Mahalapye on Wednesday, he said employees must be in a position to handle and satisfy both internal and external customers. “Your characters and attitudes if not well perfected will ruin your relationship with customers. Serving a customer with a smile will not harm your reputation in any way, he said.

Mr Kompone cautioned that customers must not be discriminated against based on gender, social status or any other differentiating factors.

“As a service provider remain calm and focused under all instances. Satisfied customers will ultimately brand an organisation positively,” he said.

He said a service provider must have a sixth sense and be able to deal with situations out of the ordinary and be able to accept feedback whether good and bad and use it to improve the service standards. ENDs
