Air Botswana has partnered with Botswana Savings Bank (BSB) to offer express loans to Batswana who aspire to travel.

Speaking at the official launch of the product on Wednesday, Air Botswana’s marketing manager, Ms Tebogo Zebe said the two organisations had a similar mandate, which was to serve Batswana.

Ms Zebe said through the BSB express loan, qualifying citizens would be able to purchase tickets at a discounted rate while BSB would offer flexible payment terms to the customers.

She said the collaboration was an exciting opportunity for Air Botswana, as they recently completed the first phase of their fleet upgrade. She added that they would be embarking on a route expansion plan over the coming months.

She said the partnership would also enable flying for all and promote local tourism.

“We believe that this partnership will position both our brands, increase customer awareness and captivate new potential clients for both Air Botswana and BSB,” Ms Zebe said.

Head of marketing and corporate affairs at BSB, Ms Bomolemo Selaledi said the product was meant to give Batswana an opportunity to purchase Air Botswana tickets at 42 per cent discount when they uptake the loan.

Ms Selaledi said the offering would make it easy for Batswana who want to travel by air.

She encouraged Batswana to use the loan to pay for their needs such as school fees and investment interests. She highlighted that one did not have to be a BSB customer to be part of the product offering.

Ms Selaledi said it was their mission to provide the lowest cost and fastest banking for all businesses and individuals. Ends
