Dutlwe has no kgotla offices
08 Aug 2013
There are no formal offices at the Dutlwe kgotla and currently staff members use a two-roomed structure which is not conducive for a working environment.
Assistant minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso told Parliament that the construction of the Kgotla office was not included in the NDP 10 and District Development Plan 7.
Ms Tshireletso said she could not therefore state with certainty when offices for the kgola in question would be constructed. She however said that the issue had been noted for future consideration, though with other equally deserving needs and resources permitting.
She was responding to Letlhakeng West MP, Mr Ngaka Ngaka who had asked if the ministry was aware that Dutlwe Tribal Office consisted of a one-roomed house and that all employees were housed in it.
He also wanted to know what plans the ministry had to build offices. BOPA
