Mr Tshipinare said they were motivated by love to heed the call to assist the child with whatever little they had and enable him to have a lifesaving surgery, which is estimated to cost P40 000.
He commended the employees for going out of their way to save a life.
Botswana Emergency Health Rescue Organization secretary general, Mr Jenamiso Phizha also applauded the land board employees for the noble gesture.
He said their act of kindness reflected the best in Batswana who are a good natured and loving nation.
He said the donation would make a huge difference in the boy’s life and wished him a speedy recovery.
When receiving the donation, principal nursing officer from Kanye Seventh Day Adventist Hospital, Ms Keabitsa Ramantele described the donation as a step in the right direction.
