Three Bosele pupils receive uniform

Deputy permanent secretary in the Office of the President, Mr Ernest Phiri, has hailed Ms Emily Bogale for donating school uniform and toiletry to three Bosele Primary School pupils.
Speaking at the donation ceremony in Gaborone on Tuesday, Mr Phiri said “blessed is the hand that gives, rather than the one that receives. By helping a poor child go to school, you are preparing them for a better future”.
He said the children would always remember the good that was done to them and appealed to parents to reciprocate by guiding the children to good academic performance.
For her part, the wheel chair bound Ms Bogale said she always had passion to help and develop a girl child.
Director for Coordinating Office for People with Disabilities, Mr Thomas Motingwa, commended Ms Bogale for identifying and assisting the needy children.
“I want to take this opportunity to commend you for not folding your arms to rely on handouts. Indeed you have shown that disability is not inability,” he said.
He said Ms Bogale was an inspiration to other people living with disabilities. ENDS
