Rasesa Pre Costa Football Club on january 20 received two soccer balls from DC Events in Rasesa.

Founding director of DC Events and Rasesa entrepreneur, Dichabe Palai said the donation was to assist the team where they lacked.

He also said football has the power to communicate to multitudes as it speaks to those in attendance, especially the youth to refrain from social ills.

Palai also said it was important to play a role in developing the sport as it helped to curb crime, drugs and alcohol abuse in the community.

Furthermore, he encouraged the team to continue to work with the community and to find possible ways to assist them.

Rasesa Pre Costa chairperson, Kopano Ntsimane appreciated the donation, saying the team’s problems were halved as they had been having challenges with soccer balls.

Ntsimane also said football has a way of communicating to people as they engage in community projects and mentor upcoming youngsters.

Kgatleng Regional Football chairperson, Fela Monyake thanked DC Events for the donation and said it would make a difference in the team’s performance.

He said football teams struggled with minor challenges and needed to be assisted to yield good results.

Monyake also said it was important for local entrepreneurs to assist and support local communities. ENDS
