The Kalahari Ferrari rolls on

Motor Sport champion, Ross Branch aka ‘The Kalahari Ferrari’ is flying Botswana’s flag high at the Dakar Rally 2019 held in Peru.
He completed stage one in position 43 and went on to finish stage two in position 22 taking him to position 30.
However, he was penalised for changing his bike’s engine and subsequently got position 38.
Motor Sport secretary general, Jackie Meyer said they expected a great performance from Branch and that his standing was good since he was competing with over 140 world-class riders.
She also said they had great hopes that he would make Batswana proud.
The rally, which has over 500 competitors in different categories will end on January 16. ENDS
