Presiding officers commissioners of oath

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso says customary courts and presiding officers at the level of headman of records and senior sub tribal authority are considered commissioners of oath.

She said 14 customary court presiding officers within Boteti East constituency were commissioners of oath. MP for Boteti East, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe had asked the minister if customary court presiding officers in villages were commissioners’ of oath, and if so, to state the scale at which one was considered a commissioner of oath, the number of customary court presiding officers in Boteti East who were commissioners of oath.
