Lions Club feeds students with disabilities
28 Nov 2018
Lions Club, Serowe Branch, prepared a luncheon for students of Makolojwane Primary School with learning disabilities, a gesture meant to spread love and compassion.
Speaking during the luncheon that also doubled as a Christmas present to the pupils, Lions Club Serowe branch secretary, Ms Winnie Ntabe-Jagwere said the organisation was touched and alive to the challenges of such pupils, especially those with hearing impairment.
She said the lunch was an opportune time for them to meet with the pupils and accord them quality time while appreciating the challenges they went through.
In appreciating the gesture extended by Lions Club, senior teacher, languages and interpretation, Ms Oageletse Mosarwe said that such benevolence would go a long way in motivating their learners and the same would rub off on them so they could spread compassion and love in future. ENDS
