The chairperson of the Statutory Bodies and State Enterprises who is also Member of Parliament for Tati East Mr Samson Guma has, together with MP for Gabane-Mmankgodi Maj. Gen. Pius Mokgware and MP Ndaba Gaolathe for Bonnington South undertaken a study trip to London to benchmark from United Kingdom Parliament.

A press release from Parliament states that the committee would like to benchmark on; how the United Kingdom generally manages similar enterprises, how the House of Commons similar committee provides oversight over such enterprises as well as to learn how state enterprises are structured and examine the governance of state enterprises.

The committee will further want to know how the performance of the committee is reviewed and measured as well as any other areas that may be necessary for the committee. 

The MPs are expected back home on October 26. ENDS
