One of CEDA’s products, Mabogo Dinku has shown good results since introduction, attracting more women and youth.

This was said by the organisation’s chief operations officer, Mr Andrew Madeswi in Gopong on October 20 . He explained that the product targeted previously excluded entrepreneurs who could not be financed by financial institutions due to their informal business structure, strict requirements and complex application process.

He, therefore, emphasised that CEDA was committed to uplifting and developing the lives of Batswana, and encouraged more youth who aspired to be in businesses to consider the product as a step forth to business to gain as much experience as possible with regard to running a business.

Members of staff from the Gaborone CEDA branch had converged at Gopong kgotla where they donated school uniform amounting to P10 000 to Gopong Primary School less privileged pupils.

Mr Madeswi noted that in the last financial year, CEDA had assisted 1 000 Batswana at a cost of P574 million. ENDS
