Dow attends JPCC in Nigeria

Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, Dr Unity Dow is in Nigeria for the 4th session of the Joint Permanent Commission on Cooperation (JPCC) between Nigeria and Botswana.
A news release from the ministry states that the JPCC will take stock of state of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in sectors such as Trade, Agriculture, Arts and Culture, Tourism and Wildlife, Medicine and Health Sciences, Sports Development, Education, Youth Development and Gender Equality, among others.
The meeting will also explore potential areas for enhanced collaboration.
Following the JPCC, Minister Dow will proceed to Geneva, Switzerland to attend the World Investment Forum (WIF) 2018, scheduled to take place from October 22 to 26.
The 2018 WIF will be held under the theme: Investing in Sustainable Development.
The Forum, organised biennially by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, is the pre-eminent platform that facilitates policy dialogue among a diverse community of investment stakeholders, aimed at influencing investment related policy making, as well as shaping the global investment environment, to address global challenges for investment in the 21st century.
