Police in Kang are appealing to the public to help with information that could assist in finding relatives of an unknown white man who was found dead on October 2.

A press release from the Botswana Police Service says the deceased, who is believed to be aged between 30 and 40, was found in a decomposed state about one kilometre south of Kang in what is suspected to be murder.

He was putting on blue jeans, grey floral short-sleeved shirt, grey sweater, blue pair of takkies with yellow stripes and grey stripped socks.

Some items which include a cooking stove, Tupperware container, water bottles, cooking pan, sleeping bag, toiletry bag, two gas cylinders and an aluminum saucepan were found at the scene.

Any information about the deceased or his relatives should be communicated to Kang Police Station on the following numbers 6517051, 6517034, 999 or to the nearest police station. Ends
