Party regalia at schools not allowed

The Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Patrick Masimolole has told Parliament that politicians are not allowed to visit schools and address learners wearing their party regalia.

Mr Masimolole said the ministry was not aware of any incident where any politician addressed learners within the school premises wearing their party regalia. Member of Parliament for Francistown South, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi had asked the minister whether politicians were allowed to visit schools and address learners wearing their party regalia and if it had ever happened in Botswana.
