Trump appluads Masisi on 52nd independence anniversary

US President Donald Trump has congratulated President Mokgweetsi Masisi on the occasion of Botswana’s 52nd independence anniversary.
The full text of the message reads; “On behalf of the United States, I want to congratulate you and the people of Botswana on the 52nd anniversary of Botswana’s independence on September 30.
Botswana has been and remains one of the United States' most valuable and reliable partners in Southern Africa.
A symbol of peace and stability in the region and beyond, we look forward to our continued collaboration with Botswana for the benefit of both Americans and the people of Botswana alike.” BGCIS
