UN welcomes Masisi

President Mokgweetsi Masisi and UN Secretary General, Mr Antonio Guterres met on September 23 in a bilateral meeting at the UN Secretariat Building in USA.
The meeting was held for President Masisi to introduce himself as the new President of Botswana following his assumption of office on April 1.
They duo discussed issues of mutual interest covering areas such as good governance, human rights, maintenance of international peace and security, as well as UN reforms. ENDS
