Beneficiaries receive goats

Department of Animal Production’s scientific officer in Bobonong, Mr Lenkemetse Gontswe, says the process of distributing long awaited LIMID goats to applicants has been running smoothly since it started on September 6.
In an interview, Mr Gontswe said there was still a backlog but they planned to speed up and complete the exercise on time.
For his part, agriculture field assistant, Mr Shadrack Seane said they did not give beneficiaries just any goat, but healthy and quality breeds.
One of the beneficiaries, Ms Daena Otukile applauded government for initiating the LIMID programme, saying it was life saver.
She said she would be able to feed her family and sell some to meet her other needs or wants. ENDS
