Compensation rates reviewed in April 2010

The compensation rates for loss of right to use tribal land were last reviewed and approved in April 2010, Parliament has been told.
Answering a question on behalf of Minister of Lands and Housing, Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr Nonofo Molefhi said the rates were uniform across all land boards.
Boteti North MP, Mr Slumber Tsogwane had wanted to know when compensation for dispossession of citizens of their tribal land by government was last reviewed and whether the compensation was uniform across land boards. Ends
