Ministry faces shortage of graders

The Minister of Lands and Housing, Mr Nonofo Molefhi says he is aware of the deplorable condition of gravel roads in Tonota North constituency.
Mr Molefhi explained to Parliament that his ministry was facing challenges of shortage of graders to put the roads in good condition. “We are in the process of procuring 21 graders to help maintain the roads. The ministry will within its approved budget, continue with the maintenance of roads,” he said.
Tonota North MP, Mr Fidelis Molao had wanted to know whether the minister was aware of the deplorable state of gravel roads linking villages in the Tonota North constituency, such as Mathangwane/Chadibe, Mathangwane/Makobo, Simitwe/Orapa Junction, Makobo/Natale, Marapong/Matsitama, Orapa Junction/Mabesekwa and Orapa Junction/Matsitama roads.
