Ministry finalises declaration of assets bill

The Ministry for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration is in the process of finalising a bill on declaration of assets and liabilities.
Answering a question in Parliament, Minister Mokgweetsi Masisi said numerous consultations he had made before taking the bill to Cabinet had delayed the process.
“I intend to bring the bill to Parliament soon after approval by Cabinet, which I hope will be before the end of the year,” he said. Member of Parliament for Gaborone Central, Mr Dumelang Saleshando had asked what was delaying the tabling of the bill and when the minister expected to table it. ENDS
