Mothibi Sebele in 100 Metres final

Botswana sprinter Karabo Mothibi will this afternoon(August 2)compete in the 100m finals after finishing on position two at the on-going 21st Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) African Senior Championships in Asaba, Delta State of Nigeria.
Mothibi stopped the clock at 10.46 and he once again share the track with the likes of South African Akani Simbine and Zimbabwean Ngoni Makusha. In 100m women Tsaone Sebele finished on position four with 11.75s and will also go to the finals this afternoon(August 2).
Still in the semi-finals Keene Motukusi settled for position four in another heat with a time of 10.78.
In 400 metres men Baboloki Thebe, Leungo Scotch and Onkabetse Nkobolo will also compete in the semi-finals this afternoon after both of them finished in position one in their respective heat.
Thebe jogged to the finish line stopping the clock at 45.95, Nkobolo who looked comfortable throughout the race won his race in a time of 46.76s, while Scotch crossed the line with 46.42.
Meanwhile, Loungo Matlhaku was yesterday(August 1), eliminated in round of one in the 100m after finishing on position five with 12.08. ENDS
