The Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Kenneth Matambo says the 11^th National Development Plan (NDP 11) runs for a period of 6 years from 2017/18 financial year to 2022/2023 .Responding to a parliamentary question on Wednesday, Mr Matambo said that  for any given NDP, the mid-term review was conducted mid-way through the period of implementation of the plan.

Therefore, he said mid-term review for NDP 11 would be conducted during the 2019/2020 financial year. Mr Matambo said that the process would  start in March 2019 with a Cabinet Memorandum seeking permission to undertake the review and a call circular to Thematic Working Groups for them to start reviewing their chapters.
