Boteti has around134 000

The Minister of Agriculture, Mr Oreeditse Molebatsi told Parliament that the number of cattle in Boteti Sub-district is estimated at about 134 000.
He also said land in Boteti has not been apportioned according to pastoral and non-pastoral but most of it is shared between settlements, agriculture, tourism and others.
Mr Molebatsi also said that the total area of land in Boteti Sub-district is 3 711 100 hectares.
He was responding to a question asked by Member of Parliament for Boteti North, Mr Slumber Tsogwane who wanted the minister to state the number of cattle in Boteti Sub-district and its proportion to the land appropriated for grazing grounds. ENDS
