Gaborone Electronics (GE) managing director, Mr Vladimir Pribil has hailed the growth of the company, attributing its success to employees’ dedication and determination.
Speaking during the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations on June 20, Mr Pribil said Gaborone Electronics has come a long way to build a legacy that was started by his parents in 1993.
“We have put blood and sweat to build the business to what it has become today.
Ours is a typical story of entrepreneurial inquisition. My father built a reputation for excellence and quality of service provided, and he built strong relationships and partnerships that earned the business credibility as trustworthy and reliable. “It is these founding principles that we continue to cherish and use as a compass for our journey,” he said.
Mr Pribil said over the last 25 years, GE had grown and evolved and today stands as one of the largest dedicated suppliers in the field of laundry and dry cleaning equipment, bakery and butchery equipment, kitchen equipment and extractions, refrigeration, supermarket and site solutions.
He noted that the company started with only four people and that today it has approximately 63 employees who were dedicated and committed to providing excellence as per the company’s vision.
“It is through our employees’ dedication and determination that we have grown the business to three branches namely Gaborone, Francistown and Kasane where we have loyal and repetitive customers that continue to support our business as well as some international markets such as Namibia and Zambia.
It is with pride that I inform the gathering here today that before the end of this year, we will have our doors open for a technical branch in the tourism frontier of Maun,” he added.
Mr Pribil said as they celebrated the milestone all the stakeholders must remember where they came from, which might carry them for another 25 years. ENDS
