Ministry finalises draft tourism policy

Minister of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism Mr Tshekedi Khama says his ministry is finalising the draft Tourism Policy. He also said the ministry intended to circulate the draft policy to government ministries and departments during the month of July, thereafter it would be presented to Parliament this year.
He was responding to a question in Parliament on June 20 from Nkange MP Mr Edwin Batshu, who had asked the minister to state when his ministry would complete the review of the Tourism Policy of 2000 to take on board the current and future developments in the industry. ENDS
