Ministry assist RADS outside settlements

The Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso says her ministry is assisting Basarwa who reside outside designated Remote Area Dwellers settlements with the programme’s economic services.
Ms Tshireletso said on July 23 that the revised Remote Area Development Programme was effected in 2009.
The Member of Parliament for Boteti North, Mr Slumber Tsogwane had asked the minister to brief Parliament on when the revised Remote Area Development Programme (RADP) was effected and why Basarwa who reside outside designated RADS settlements still do not access RADP economic services.ENDS
