Ronaldo hat trick saves Portugal

Christiano Ronaldo emerged first to score a hat trick during a group B clash between Portugal and Spain, ending celebratory mood by Spanish supporters with two minutes to spare of normal time.
Earlier, a light tackle by Nacho against Ronaldo awarded Portugal a penalty, and an early lead.
The goal jolted Spain to life as they fought to level the scores.
Diego Costa's goal leveling the scores was short lived as Ronaldo scored on the stroke of half time.
However, Diego would score his second equaliser and put Spain back on level scores early in the second half with a header form a Busquets free kick.
Nacho would become the goal hero, scoring three minutes later, rousing a roar from the Spanish supporters. ENDS
