 Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Development, Dr Unity Dow is in Montreal, Canada to attend the 24th edition of the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA).

A news release from the ministry states that this is a forum where world leaders meet business and other private sector leaders, researchers, leading experts and academics to discuss and share views on current issues of major concern to humanity.

The release further states that the issues include challenges related to climate change, infrastructure of the future and the direction the world economy ought to take.

While in Canada, the minister will join a panel of other leaders to discuss a topic on future of infrastructure of a world in transition.Minister Dow is accompanied by deputy permanent secretary, Ms Halakangwa Mbulai.

They are expected back tomorrow. ENDS
