11 Jun 2018
Ditsweletse Junior Secondary School in Letlhakane will be provided with six additional classrooms and one laboratory, says Assistant Minister of Basic Education, Mr Thato Kwerepe.
Mr Kwerepe told Parliament that the delay in implementing the project was due to budgetary constraints, and explained that the ministry was currently evaluating a tender to pre-qualify bidders, adding that the project would commence in September this year.
He said after completion of the project, the school would run as an 18 stream school with a minimum enrollment of 720 students.
The MP for Boteti East, Mr Setlhomo Lelatisitswe had asked the minister to state the progress made on the deliveries concerning the ESP project earmarked for Ditsweletse Junior School.
He also wanted to know what caused the delay in delivering the project as well as the commencement date and scope of the proposed project. ENDS
