Over 21 000 learners re-absorbed into education system

The Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Patrick Masimolole says 21 942 learners have been re-absorbed into the education system through the Back-To-School programme.
Answering a question in Parliament, Mr Masimolole said the number of learners who have been re-absorbed into formal schools is 8 283.
He said 334 learners were placed in Francistown schools. Francistown South MP, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi had asked the minister to state the number of people who had been absorbed by the Back-To-School programme since inception.
Mr Mmolotsi also asked him to state the number of thestudents that had been absorbed in formal schools and the number of these students who were placed in Francistown schools. ENDS
