Passion, perseverance, hard work and attention to detail are vital factors in building a good business person, says upcoming entrepreneur, Mr Ditiro Rangaka.

In an interview, the 31-year-old Molepolole native described a good business person as one who sustained himself and created employment for others.

Mr Rangaka, who ventured into the creative multimedia industry by establishing Flywaves Productions Videography and Multimedia in 2017, said he first tried his hand in business by videoing weddings and birthday parties using a small camcorder he bought while pursuing a degree in Creative Multimedia at Limkokwing University back in 2014.

In 2015, while freelancing for Mmualebe Informer magazine, he developed more passion for his work and resolved to take it to a higher level fueled by the positive feedback he was getting.

Thanks to the Youth Development Fund (YDF) he has been able to buy professional equipment for his business.

“I was financed to the tune of P100 000 through which I was able to purchase professional videography and photography equipment which includes quality cameras that enable me to produce quality products,” he said with pride.

So far the highpoint has been to be engaged by a Molepolole artiste to shoot a music video.

Other projects include working with new Molepolole hip hop crew called Hustle Nation as well as upcoming comedians, the Crazy Ninjas Bw Duo.

“There is also a drama script that is ready for shooting and a short film will follow afterwards. My aim is to take advantage of available opportunities like providing the recently launched Youth TV Channel with content,” he said.

He applauded the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development for helping young people through YDF which he said was a vital springboard in establishing business.

The enterprising young man advised beneficiaries to show appreciation by paying back loans. Ends
