Botswana Life Insurance Limited believes that to continue serving Batswana excellently, it needs to ensure that the team of workers that serves its customers continues to soar high.
To ensure this, the business continues to host Botswana Life Achievers Club Awards meant to recognise and celebrate the men and women who have worked tirelessly to inspire and champion the company to do better.

This year’s edition of the Achievers Club Awards was held on Thursday, under the theme “The year of the eagles.”

Giving a keynote address, head of business development for Botswana Life, Mr Thomas Masife said despite a challenging global national and economy and difficult circumstances encountered in 2017, those recognised and celebrated on the night persevered and thrived to help contribute to positive performance for Botswana Life.

“The eagle is among the world’s most revered birds of prey. With a striking build and set of wings, glisteningly-sharp eyes, and a sharp-tipped beak and talons, this creature is a remarkable example of the wonder and glory of nature that has mastered how to kill with precision, and yet still has instincts for nurturing the young,” he said.

He added that the 2018 achievers, possessed the very traits in their DNA, true to the intrinsic business philosophy of Botswana Life and for this, and all that they did and inspire, ‘we celebrate them’.

A total of 38 recipients were rewarded on the night, marking a strong year on year growth of talent appreciation at Botswana Life, and a testament to the investment in capacity yielding strong results.

The much-coveted accolade of Top Agent was awarded to Ms Botlhale Makopa, who accepted her award beaming with pride. She attributed her achievement to her determination, consistency and willingness to work extra hard to do what she loves best.

Ms Charity Moyo received position two on Top achievers award while Ms Tidimalo Tsheko was awarded position three.

Mr Lapologang Mosala and Ms Lesego Ntsima then got position four and five respectively.

The Achievers Club is a platform for Botswana Life’s elite agents and brokers who demonstrate a veritable passion for sales and driving the growth of the business.

The annual awards, now in their third year, celebrate the effort continuously demonstrated by the achievers’ performance as they excel over time, performing above and beyond expectation. Ends
