Health records policy underway

The Assistant Minister of Health, Mr Gaotlhaetse Matlhabaphiri has informed Parliament that a medical records policy is being developed.
Answering a question, Mr Matlhabaphiri stated that the process was halted due to competing priorities such as the National Health Policy, Public Health Act, Medicines and Related Substance Act among others.
However, he explained that the project has since taken off again, stating that a team has been put in place to fast track the process.
Lobatse MP, Mr Nehemiah Modubule, had asked him to indicate whether the policy for medical records operations has been developed. ENDS
